Forgiveness or Justice, The Ego of a Civilization?

The recent case of Charlie Kirk’s wife, #ErikaKirk, publicly forgiving her husband’s murderer is not an isolated event. It is a symptom of what is happening in the West: a world that has emptied martial justice of its content and turned forgiveness into a moral spectacle, where the ego of the victim becomes the moral foundation of a civilization that has forgotten its roots.

In the Torah, Cain, after killing Hevel, did not receive a five-star hotel or a lifelong pension. He was sentenced to hard, forced labor, to limit, to rectification. That was his opportunity to redeem himself in the eyes of his murdered brother and of the Creator. It is the law of measure for measure (murder = forced labor, in this life or the next). Important detail: this effort is what later generations would call technology and civilization itself. From the fruit of his expiation, Cain became a servant, not a beneficiary.

By contrast, in post-Christian West, the murderer or criminal lives in a prison-hotel 5* paid for by taxpayers, including the family of the victim, of course. Death is no longer a punishment but a kind of a permanent government job. Life on earth becomes “secondary,” transferred instead to a vague heaven, whose theological origin is summed up in the words:

“My kingdom is not of this world.”
— John 18:36

And so justice Mars, the masculine principle of limit and form disappears. The Empire of Law evaporates with each new update of the constitution or the state bulletin, a parody of the immutability of the Torah.

Forgiveness without demanding restitution is presented as the highest virtue, but in reality it is pure ego disguised as holiness“Look at how big my heart is.” In practice, it rewards the aggressor and trivializes the suffering of the innocent. It inverts the biblical order: instead of serving the one you harmed, you elevate yourself above him with your cheap forgiveness, leaving unpaid debts written in the spiritual archive. Please, allow me a prophetic reincarnational touch of Dinwhy do so many children keep being born in Africa, even when life is harsh? Measure for measure, my friend…

Returning to the perspective of real justice, the Jewish one, which does not call for vengeance but also does not deny limits: the thief serves the family he robbed; the murderer compensates the family of the murdered. Forgiveness is earned through deeds, not through spectacle. Without that path, there is no real redemption, only debts to be settled. Your life today, good or bad, reflects the work of yesterday, be sure bro!

And perhaps what disgusts me the most: a West that declares itself atheist still celebrates Christmas and rests on Sunday… A façade without substance, built on false foundations. The downfall of Europe is tied to the Cross, and one must decide whether to follow the suicidal path of its leader. Because when forgiveness becomes a media show, it is really saying: “It doesn’t matter if you do good or evil, God forgives everything.”

A lie. That is the true venom of the serpent: corrupting language and doubting the will of the Creator.

“There is no forgiveness without justice.
There is no redemption without limits.
Everything else is ego.”

Measure for measure.

Amen Ehad.
